Getting started
An artificial intelligence SaaS solution for content localization is the identity of Letterworks. We are making various efforts to enable more efficient and less time-consuming localization based on better machine translation. The main focus is on updating necessary functions from the user's point of view and creating a more comfortable environment, and other than that, we are continuing our efforts to publicize the service Letterworks. I think one of them is participating in exhibitions held all over Korea and around the world.
So this time I went to Southeast Asia to promote a service called Letterworks. There are many startups planning to expand into Southeast Asia, and Letterworks is one of them. From the standpoint of a company that provides localization services, I think Southeast Asia is a place with a lot of potential. Meanwhile, I had the opportunity to participate as an IT trade mission in Southeast Asia. The dispatch period was from November 19 to 25. I participated in various activities and met many people, but in today's letter, I would like to write a review about the Dig Tech ASEAN exhibition in Thailand.
What is the Dig Tech ASEAN exhibition
The Dig Tech ASEAN exhibition was hosted by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Social Affairs of Thailand, and was held for 3 days from November 22 to 24. This exhibition is held with the goal of connecting global technology with the digital community and enabling business to be carried out. It is also an event where more than 250 international and local companies from various fields such as business software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart solutions, and IoT participate. I went to Letterworks (Twigfarm), which provides artificial intelligence SaaS solutions, because I thought it was a great exhibition to participate in.
There is one thing I feel every time I participate in an exhibition. I think the exhibition is a place where we can introduce our technology, and at the same time, it is also a place where we can meet many businesses. Looking at the direction of technological development, I also think about the steps we should take in the future. That's why I think it's more important, and I think they work hard to prepare for every event. It's also an opportunity to meet people who are interested in our services in one place.
This time, Letterworks has made another update to create an environment that is easy to use. Briefly, we've improved the TB/TM function and the file upload function. In addition to TB/TM files, subtitle files for video projects can also be uploaded separately, and development focusing on creating a more comfortable environment to use, such as an editor notification aid, has been completed. We'll explain the added features in more detail in another letter, so stay tuned for more information.
While finishing
The ultimate reason Letterworks participated in Dig Tech ASEAN held in Thailand is as follows. The purpose was to identify industry trends in technology and digital solutions and form business partners, collaboration, and networking. This is because I think that one step at a time will help provide a better service. With that in mind, I plan to participate in various exhibitions and events in the future. In the next letter, I'll write about the review of SoftwareEVE, which was held from the 29th of last month to the 1st of this month. I hope you enjoyed reading today's letter, and I'll be back with the next one.
