Many people prepare for the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation in order to become interpreters and translators. In order to enter the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation, I'm looking at an interpretation and translation entrance examination school again. If you take the first step into the Tongdae Admissions School, I don't know if the first thought most students experience is “I don't think this path is my path.” After watching a one-minute video/newspaper, they immediately have to interpret and translate in front of many people. If you had stage fright outside of interpreting or translating rather than interpreting or translating itself, it would be a new variable to overcome.
If you continue to have foreign language skills, build strong Korean language skills, and focus on input and output, you will soon find yourself one step closer to becoming an expert in interpretation and translation.
Interpreters and translators act as a bridge between people. I think the core competency of an interpreter or translator, whether large or small, is to stand at the center of the two countries while interpreting and translating and communicating the main points of the words they want to be involved in those countries according to the context and situation. 😁
See you in the next post.
