How much do you know about the features of Letterworks? Recently, Letterworks has received feedback from localization experts to improve and update services. Here's what we've added to make the localization process easier and faster. Here are the 5 best honey functions that will help you keep using it once you know it and improve work efficiency.
1. Bulk edit after search
If you want to edit repeated proper names or terms all at once, click the 'Search' button in the upper left corner of the web editor. You can batch edit all sentences containing the terms you want to edit by filtering them with a search. It is also possible to select and apply only the text you want to change with the check box.
2. Web editor multi-tab
This function is for PMs and workers who run multiple projects simultaneously. Using the Multi-tab, you can freely open any project editor window you work on in Letterworks. Work comfortably within a single web browser without opening complicated new windows or tabs!
3. Edit shortcuts
Use the web editor's shortcut function to easily edit text. By using shortcuts, you can edit text without taking your hands off the keyboard. Both text projects and video projects have shortcut functions, and the shortcuts that can be used are updated from time to time.
4. Create associated projects
Turn a project that has been localized into a related project. Additional translations are possible based on the bridge language of the completed project, and spaces and typos can be corrected through inspection. Start an easy and fast language conversion and detailed finishing work with related projects.
5. Download original & final output files
You can download an unlimited number of sources and deliverables from the workspace for every project you've worked on in Letterworks. The 'Source Link' links to the original file, and the 'Download Result' button links to the final file. When downloading the results, the text project maintains the original text style such as ppt, word, and excel, and the video project is completed with a set of subtitle files such as VTT and srt.
